Good ideas travel with Orygen

Orygen, The National Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health is the world’s leading research and knowledge translation organisation focusing on mental ill-health in young people.

Orygen engaged us to create a new brand identity to transition them into their new prestigious national centre status. We approached the brief on the basis that good research and ideas travel, they have a life of their own. The multi-coloured particles that emit from this logo reflect the many minds working under the Orygen banner. The development and investigation that happens at Orygen is put to practical use beyond the boundaries of Orygen. We see the ideas as literally breaking away from the logo to disperse and influence the world.

The colours help to reflect the three main programs and the people behind them. This mark is both a chameleon and a constant; the many ways it can be realised reflect the way Orygen can take a large complex problem and formulate great useable, communicable action that will improve young peoples lives.
