Cubes of light come together to make up a large screen like wall in this striking awards title sequence and broadcast package by Hackett Films for the 2011 Jameson IF Awards Sydney.
Fusing time-lapse and stop motion the cubes travel to finally form a wall that evokes the light of a projection screen. Directed by James Hackett, cubes with LED lights inside were animated by a dedicated team over a series of late nights at Ballast Point Park in Sydney.

Dan Freene was the DOP and Eran Dolev brought in his motion control rig for the final shot. Hackett Films producer Ali Kennedy made it all happen. Hackett Films worked with Annie Parnell, the Jameson IF Awards Sydney Producer and Ean Thorley and Emily Bradley from Whatever to produce the event and broadcast graphics.
