News Exchange
Hackett Films was given the opportunity by Andrew George, at ABC News 24, to develop the broadcast package and titles for their new program — News Exchange. The program aims to target a younger, hip generation and reflect the content of the News 24 website. The titles were designed to represent the variety of media types and sources covered by the broadcast, stylised blocks were created to represent packages of information as they flow together to become a stream depicting iconic news images. Several different coloured streams were created to represent the variety of news categories covered by the website which then converge together to make the News Exchange logo. The fresh, clean colours appeal to the target audience whilst maintaining a clean, professional news image.
